The man who positively impacted my life is my father.

Describe a man who has positively impacted your life.

He raised me in a middle-class household, yet life never felt middle class. Even though we were financially far below many members of our extended family, he ensured that I never felt less than anyone else. What I grew up with was confidence, self-respect, and a sense of quiet dignity.

As a child, I was unaware of the financial gaps around me. There was no bitterness, no comparison, no feeling of being left behind. Only much later, when I look at my own financial position and compare it with my surroundings, do I truly understand what he gave me. Today, a child in the same circumstances would easily feel deprived or upset—but I didn’t.

That strength wasn’t accidental. It was taught, lived, and passed down by a father who understood that self-worth matters more than wealth.
